Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist provides technical support and troubleshooting for the wide area network and to employees in a six county catchment area; with primary operations in Texarkana, AR.  Must have ability to provide prompt and reliable technical assistance over the phone and in person, troubleshoot desktops computers, laptops, printers and other devices as well as install software in a network environment.  Install, configure, support and perform routine maintenance on computers and related hardware throughout the organization.  Diagnose and solve technology issues in a timely manner, works independently and as part of a team.  Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively with employees, management and business associates from a technical and nontechnical background.  Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or minimum of one year work experience.  Job type: Full-time, M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with benefits, salary commensurate with experience.

Therapist

This position will be located at the De Queen Clinic of SWACMHC.  Qualifications include a license as a Mental Health Professional. Therapist will serve as primary therapist and carry an active caseload.  Will attend staff conferences on all clients.  May perform client intakes and assigning of clients to appropriate Center staff for services.  Provides education and consultation services to surrounding communities, agencies and individuals.  Will be required to provide 24 hour emergency and crisis intervention services.

Qualified Behavioral Health Professional (QBHP)

The QBHP provides therapeutic interventions to emotionally disturbed children, youth, adolescents, and their families.  The events are guided by a Mental Health Professional as prescribed by a specific Treatment Plan.

Required Activities:  Family, home, and school-based interactions are required.   This position requires participation in a specialized client setting.  Maintain a productivity standard.


This position is varied and complex and is considered an integral part of the treatment team. Strong documentation skills are a plus.


Reliable transportation and good driving record are necessary. After hours contact with clients is probable.  Applicant must be willing to provide support in the community and to the court as indicated.

Billing Clerk

The Billing Clerk position is currently available at the Texarkana main center.  Qualifications include a high school diploma with at least one year of experience. The Billing Clerk is responsible for running daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Will also be responsible for entering PCP referrals and tracking TPRs for compliance.   Provide backup for other billing clerk, insurance billing clerk, collection clerk.  May also provide back-up coverage to the front desk and talk to clients about their bills.

Drug and Alcohol Education Instructor

The Drug and Alcohol Safety Education Program has an immediate opening in

De Queen, AR for a weekend Program Instructor.

Responsibilities include conducting twelve and fifteen hour classes on chemically impaired driving in accordance with the DASEP Instructor’s Manual, knowledge of Arkansas DWI Laws, administering Pre and Post Tests, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Qualifications:

This position requires:  Bachelor’s Degree or two years working experience with clients in the legal system. Spanish and English Languages in order to provide DASEP Education Classes and VIP.

LPN/QBHP Case Manager

Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health main Center Texarkana has an immediate opening for a full-time LPN/QBHP Case Manager for the 8-5pm shift (Monday-Friday).  Duties will require medication administration, assisting with medication management, blood draws, assessing clients, taking doctor’s orders, working closely with doctor’s offices, working with the Pharmacy, and other agencies, taking vital signs, be able to assist on other shifts as needed and other duties as assigned. Provide QBHP intervention to clients and daily documentation of all services provided.  This position requires a person with a positive attitude and is able to work with difficult clients.


Qualifications: Licensed to practice as an LPN in Arkansas.
