Infant - Child Counseling
One Step at a Time
Infant Mental Health refers to a child’s social and emotional development from birth to age three. Infant mental health therapies work with both the child and the caregiver to work on attachment, trauma and behavioral issues. Current therapies include Parent-Child Interaction therapy (PCIT) which is effective for children ages 2-7 with disruptive behavior and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for children ages 0-5 who have experienced trauma.
