Jefferson House Services
Jefferson house is an adult day treatment program for those who have a diagnosed mental illness disability and want to learn skills for independent living in an environment that is caring, supportive and collaborative. Not only will the program provide one with socialization opportunities and a sense of belonging, it will also provide an array of services including individual and group therapy, substance abuse treatment, medication management, skills training, peer support, and nutritional needs.
These services along with group outings, community service, fundraisers and special events planned by the clients make for a place that one can learn and then put into action the skills necessary for independent living. Skills learned include social skills, time management, budgeting, cooking, coping skills, exercising, relaxation, personal hygiene, problem solving and others.
To be eligible for Jefferson House services, you must be 21 years of age or older, be diagnosed with a mental health disability, have a referral from your mental health provider, and have AR Medicaid or Medicare. Please call the center for more information.
