Youth Services

The Youth Services program provides juvenile probation and case management services to each County in our catchment area. The ultimate goal is to provide whatever services are needed for the child and family to reconcile that may be court ordered or recommended to alleviate the problems Included in those services are anger management programs, parenting and grand-parenting classes, along with mentoring and individual and group life skill programs.  Our program also includes intensive aftercare supervision, which is provided upon a client’s release from a commitment to the Division of Youth Services.  Counseling and any type of mental health services are usually set up and monitored for attendance by the individual case manager and/or probation officer.

The goal of the Youth Services  Program is to reduce juvenile delinquency.  To accomplish this goal, the Youth Services Program serves delinquent and high-risk youth that reside in an 8-county catchment area of Southwest Arkansas.  One or more full-time Case Managers serve each county.  Most youth served by the Program are Juvenile Court referrals, but referrals may come from any source.
